*Parking is available in the Greater Richmond Convention Center parking deck on the corner of 3rd and Marshall Street. The cost of parking will be $7 per car.*

 

MANDATORY ATTENDANCE

It is MANDATORY for all matriculated students to attend Orientation Week and please be prompt for roll call on the first day of Orientation which is Monday, August 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm. If you are not present to respond when your name is called, your seat will be offered to the next potential applicant.

Orientation is for incoming medical students only. However, Monday, August 7, 2017, our incoming students may invite 1 guest to join them at the Taste of Richmond.

 

ADMISSIONS OFFICE HOURS

Due to Orientation preparation, the Admissions Office will be closed on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm. We will have admissions team members available on the first day of Orientation to collect missing items in the McGlothlin Medical Education Center (MMEC) lobby located at 1201 E. Marshall Street.

 

MISSING DOCUMENTS

During orientation, a list in your orientation packet will identify those of you who have missing items:

1. Final Official Transcripts

2. I-20/DS-2019 Request Form

3. In-State Tuition Form

All Canadian citizens who are planning to matriculate in August 2017 at the VCU School of Medicine will need to complete a Financial Statement. This form can be obtained by going to The Office of International Admissions - located at 408 W. Franklin Street, Box 843012, Richmond, VA  23284-3012, phone (804) 828-6016, fax (804) 828-1829.

4. Financial Aid Requirements

The listed items are required in order to complete your file. To help the Admissions Office process your matriculation paperwork and to avoid unnecessary delays in continuing your orientation, please forward all required materials A.S.A.P.  If you have already notified the Admissions Office of the status of any pending items, you are exempt from the message above.
