VCU Chapter of the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students

The Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (M.A.P.S.) is an organization established to provide an instrument of academic and emotional support for under-represented groups to pursue a career in the health care profession.

Multicultural Affairs
Committee

The Multicultural Affairs Committee coordinates and develops projects that are targeted towards the recruitment, retention and development of students and faculty of the School of Medicine who are members of groups underrepresented in medicine. The Committee is dedicated to the interests of underrepresented groups as well as providing needed support to those who are members of other groups, who have similar concerns within the VCUHS community.

The Latino Medical Student Association unites and empowers medical students through service, mentorship and education to advocate for the health of the Latino community.
