On Friday, March 20, our graduating medical students will learn where they’re heading this summer to begin residency training in their chosen specialties.
Time: 11 a.m. (doors open at 10:30 a.m.)
Location: Science Museum of Virginia, 2500 W. Broad St., Richmond, Va.
Attire: Semi-formal
Check-in: All students will check in at the Dewey Gottwald Center

In Pictures: The remarkable Class of 2026
White Coat Ceremony
On Aug. 5, 2022, the Class of 2026 took up the mantle of the medical profession during the annual White Coat Ceremony, which is a rite of passage for first-year medical students that emphasizes the importance of compassionate patient care from the very start of training. In addition to reciting the Oath of Geneva, the students came forward to be “cloaked” in the iconic white coat that signifies their status as physicians.
