On Aug. 5, 2022, the Class of 2026 took up the mantle of the medical profession during the annual White Coat Ceremony, which is a rite of passage for first-year medical students that emphasizes the importance of compassionate patient care from the very start of training. In addition to reciting the Oath of Geneva, the students came forward to be “cloaked” in the iconic white coat that signifies their status as physicians.
From salsa dancing to surfing, researching jaguars to sleeping in an igloo, performing stand-up comedy to visiting 24 countries, the Class of 2026 brings a wealth of skills and unique experiences to the MCV Campus.
