With the recent tragic events playing out in Ukraine, we wanted to provide our community with some resources to better understand what is happening in Ukraine:

  • VCU Town Hall Discussion: Ukraine & Russia: The Future of European Security
    March 1, 2022 @ 7:00 pm
    Join VCU's Department of Political Science for a virtual town hall to discuss the current situation between Ukraine and Russia. The panel will feature faculty with specialties in Russian politics, European security and American foreign policy and include Judyth Twigg, Bill Newmann, Christopher Burdett and Christopher Saladino.

For students:

  • University Counseling Services
    Students may access 1-1 counseling sessions . Appointments can be made here.
  • VCU International Student Discussion Hour
    VCU holds a support group for “International Student Discussion Hour” every Friday from noon – 1 p.m. via Zoom if you would like a space to connect and speak with peers. Registration can be completed here for those interested.
