Employee Spotlight
Claudia McCann, PhD
Claudia McCann, PhD, has made a strong impact since joining the VCU Ryan White Program in April 2024 as Case Management Supervisor. As a working supervisor, she leads by example, balancing her own caseload while providing hands-on, informed support to her team.
With a background in Ryan White services and more than 20 years in adult living facilities, Claudia brings deep experience and dedication to her role. She is especially passionate about serving older adults living with HIV, expanding programming through initiatives like a specialized assessment tool, a 50+ support group, and an annual symposium on aging with HIV.
Committed to her own growth as a leader, her resilience and dedication make her a valued advocate for both her team and the clients they serve. It’s a true asset to have her as part of the School of Medicine. Thank you, Claudia, for your continued dedication and impact.
