Surrounded by friends, family, classmates and faculty, our M.D. and M.D.-Ph.D. graduates celebrated their achievements at VCU School of Medicine.
What’s Next for the Class of 2023
Prior to the Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program (SOAP), 93.2% of our graduating students matched into a PGY-1 position, close to the national average of 93.7%. After the SOAP, 100% of our students participating in the NRMP matched into a PGY-1 position.
All our graduates will pursue a training opportunity in July, and including results from the early matches, our overall match rate is 99%.
