After being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Class of 2024 took up the mantle of the medical profession on April 25, 2022, during the combined White Coat & Student Clinician Ceremony. The keynote speaker was Robin L. Foster, M.D., professor of emergency medicine and pediatrics and medical director of the Children’s Hospital of Richmond Child Protection Team. Dr. Foster completed her medical school and residency training at VCU, returning to join the faculty in 1996 following her fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine.
